Dr. Thiele grew up in New York until moving to West Virginia to attend Bethany College where he graduated with a BS in Biology. He went on to attend the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 1995 with honors. During his time there he became a graduate teaching assistant in Osteopathic Manual Medicine which entailed an extra year of learning and teaching manual medicine. In 1996 he completed a traditional rotating internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He stayed at Doctors Hospital to complete his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2000. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He moved to Goldsboro with his Family in July of 2000. His practice is in general OB/GYN including minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery.
Additional interests are in teaching. He is an Associate Professor at the Campbell School of Osteopathic Medicine and participates in student education.
